The poster, showing the fugitive general, who is wanted by the Hague tribunal on war crimes charges, was put up by war veterans, representatives of the Sisak-Moslavina federation of Homeland War association said.
The Sisak-Moslavina Police Department said last Friday there were no legal grounds for the Sisak-Moslavina county police to remove the poster of general Gotovina because it was displayed on the building which is not on public ground, its installation was not in breach of public peace and order and its removal was not under police jurisdiction.
