According to the HZZ's latest monthly bulletin, February 2005 was the seventh consecutive month with rising unemployment.
Women accounted for 57.7 percent of the registered job-seekers.
According to the age criterion, persons above the age of 50 made up 20.4 percent of all the unemployed. Those between 15 and 19 years of age were at the bottom, accounting for 5.5 percent of the registered jobless persons.
According to education structure, those with three-year high school qualifications made up 40.4 percent of job-seekers, followed by those who with four-year high school qualifications (24.2 percent).
Persons with elementary school qualifications accounted for 22.7 percent and those without any educational background made up 6.2 percent of all the jobless. People with four-year university education or three-year college qualifications accounted for 3.7 and 2.8 percent of the jobless respectively.
