ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Jesuit Valentin Pozaic was ordained the
third Auxiliary Zagreb Catholic Bishop at a ceremony held in the cathedral in
the Croatian capital on Saturday, on the occasion of St. Joseph's Day. The service was conducted by Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic and auxiliary
bishops Josip Mrzljak and Vlado Kosic. Present at the ceremony were the
Apostolic Nuncio to Croatia, Francisco Javier Lozano, Croatian Catholic
dignitaries and many believers.
Pozaic, who is a member of the Society of Jesus, was also proclaimed as
the Titular Bishop of Pican (a town in Istria).
