The FSB service refuted recent media reports that it harboured Bosnian Serb war crimes indictees in Russia as "lies and provocation".
The New York Times and London's Guardian, have recently reported that some war crimes indictees, who are wanted by the UN war crimes tribunal, are hiding in Russia under false identities and that the FSB is sheltering them.
"The FSB has never hidden any international criminals on Russian territory," an FSB spokesman was quoted by Reuters as saying . "Media reports alleging that criminals are hiding on Russian territory are lies and provocation," he added
