Of this amount, a half was published last year, namely 1,145 reports that were worth 17.6 million euros, the director of the Parish branch office of the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ), Marina Tomas Billet, said in Paris on Saturday at the ongoing SMT tourist fair.
Thus, the French media have contributed not only to the positive image of Croatia in France but also to the promotion of Croatia as a tourist destination which can offer all what demanding French guests expect from their trips abroad, Tomas Billet said.
A few French travel magazines, such as "L'ExpressMag", "Mediterrane", "L'Echo Touristique", also describe Croatia as one of top tourist destinations in their latest editions.
400 jumbo posters about Croatia will have been put on display in the Metro in the French capital by 22 March.
