The talks focused on the projects financed by the bank, with Roth recalling that the EIB had funded ten projects in the public sector and that four projects had been funded through global loans to banks for financing small and medium-sized enterprises.
Roth pointed out that the EIB was still interested in providing financial support in accordance with Croatian priorities, particularly for projects designed for the development of infrastructure.
The EIB also plans to take an active part in projects to be co-financed from European Union pre-accession funds, the statement said.
