"We were given a concrete answer today. The property has been significantly increased and we were offered options for the payment of compensation to pensioners over a period of slightly more than seven years," HSU member of parliament Silvano Hrelja said.
Hrelja described the shares as good, adding that the party would hold consultations with pensioners' associations on the government's proposal and on the proposed payment deadlines.
Government officials and pensioners agreed that the type of the fund and its property be determined by the end of this month, Hrelja said.
The two sides are expected to sign a protocol on the implementation of today's agreement on Thursday, Hrelja said.
