ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Mondayreceived members and coaches of the national handball team who won asilver medal at the World Championship in Tunisia on Sunday andbestowed on them high state decorations for the medal and the gold wonat last year's Olympics in Athens.
ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Monday received members and coaches of the national handball team who won a silver medal at the World Championship in Tunisia on Sunday and bestowed on them high state decorations for the medal and the gold won at last year's Olympics in Athens.

"You set an example of how one can be successful if organised well. Politicians and state officials, particularly business people wishing to enter the European and global markets, should follow your example," Mesic said, among other things, in his address to the athletes.

The handball team was also received by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
