ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - The coordinating body of the Committee for theProtection of the Adriatic Sea has voiced disappointment with thefirst session of the commission set up to evaluate a study on theenvironmental effects of the
Druzba Adria project and believes thatthe study should be rejected, the Committee said in a statement onTuesday.
ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - The coordinating body of the Committee for
the Protection of the Adriatic Sea has voiced disappointment with the first
session of the commission set up to evaluate a study on the environmental
effects of the Druzba Adria project and believes that the study should be
rejected, the Committee said in a statement on Tuesday.The coordinating body includes the Green Forum, a Franciscan order, the
Association for Democratic Society and many other associations and
individuals.
The commission that was set up to evaluate the Druzba Adria project held
a four-day session last week at which it concluded that the study was
incomplete and that it should be amended.
