The results of the survey, conducted in the territory of Serbia and Montenegro, excluding Kosovo, from 10 to 21 December, were published by the media in Belgrade on Sunday.
Of 2,023 respondents covered by the poll in Serbia, 47 percent believe that the relations are poor. The 47 percent out of 1,018 respondents in Montenegro think the same.
Only seven percent of respondents both in Serbia and Montenegro think that the relations in the state union are good. Most respondents could not provide an answer about a lasting solution to the matter.
Twenty percent of respondents in Serbia and 20 percent in Montenegro are in favour of having two independent states, while 15 percent in Serbia and 12 percent in Montenegro are in favour of preserving the state union.
