Serb association supports HDZ presidential candidate

RIJEKA, Jan 12 (Hina) - The association of citizens of Serb originadvocating peace and religious tolerance in Croatia, "Tolerancija",will support the Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ) presidentialcandidate, Jadranka Kosor, in the second round of presidentialelections, the association's chairman, Branko Konstantinovic said at anews conference on Wednesday.
RIJEKA, Jan 12 (Hina) - The association of citizens of Serb origin advocating peace and religious tolerance in Croatia, "Tolerancija", will support the Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ) presidential candidate, Jadranka Kosor, in the second round of presidential elections, the association's chairman, Branko Konstantinovic said at a news conference on Wednesday.

The association supports Kosor because she helped organise the escape of a former Yugoslav People's Army conscript to Croatia in 1990, which was the first task of a group of citizens who later formed the "Tolerancija" association, Konstantinovic said.

He added that the association supported Kosor also because of efforts she made to help refugees and displaced people during the war.
