Sunday made two interventions due to the public displaying of the Croatian
national flag in Banja Luka's Borik neighbourhood, the local Public Security
Centre said in a press release.The perpetrator of the "incident" was a resident of the capital, M.J.,
who first hoisted the flag on his balcony in the morning, according to the
press release.
The man, who hoisted the flag on Republika Srpska Day, removed it after
"upset citizens" notified the police, read the press release.
The police intervened a second time after the man hoisted the flag again
in the afternoon. According to the press release, measures envisaged by law
will be taken against M.J.
