ZAGREB, Dec 28 (Hina) - The Croatian National Bank (HNB) intervened on the foreign exchange market on Thursday, buying from commercial banks 177 million euros at an average rate of 7.357367 kuna for one euro.

intervened on the foreign exchange market on Thursday, buying from commercial
banks 177 million euros at an average rate of 7.357367 kuna for one euro. The central bank thus put 1.3 billion kuna in circulation.
This was the 13th intervention of the HNB this year.
During the previous intervention in late November, the HNB bought 112.9
million euros at an average rate of 7.338321 kuna for one euro.
The middle rate of the euro on today's HNB exchange list is 7.349698
kuna for one euro.
The kuna has appreciated against other currencies as well.
