Last week, Bosnia's collective presidency decided to donate what it labelled as a surplus in its infantry weaponry but the tripartite presidency did not specify what kind of arms would be sent to Afghanistan.
According to Wednesday's issue of the daily, the donation includes 4,500 machine guns which use 7.62 mm caliber bullets.
The guns were previously used in the army of the Bosnian Serb entity.
Two years ago, the armies of the two entities were dissolved and Bosnia got the armed forces at the state level that have been transforming to meet NATO standards.
Earlier this year, Bosnia donated some amount of infantry weaponry to Iraq.
The newspaper also claims that there were some plans for Bosnia to sell arms to Georgia but it was thwarted due to Russia's opposition.
