Skare Ozbolt held a news conference on Saturday to dismiss media reports that the DC had ignored the meeting held in the Government's building on proposals for activating EFPZ.
She told reporters in Zagreb that the DC had received no invitation and that the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) had changed its position on the matter three times in the past three years.
The DC chief said that Prime Minister Sanader was late with convening parliamentary parties in a bid to reach agreement on the matter.
In her opinion, this should have been done in May 2004, and she accused him of now trying to use Opposition parties in his conflict with the European Commission.
