A delegation of the foreign policy committee of China's National People's Congress, headed by committee deputy chairman Wang Yingfan, is on a two-day visit to Croatia. Wang held talks with the chairman of the Croatian Sabor's Foreign Policy Committee.
The two officials assessed bilateral cooperation as very developed and relations between the Croatian and Chinese peoples as friendly.
Jandrokovic said that since the two countries established diplomatic relations 15 years ago, trade had gone up 15 times, although Croatia was registering a high deficit.
Wang recalled a general cooperation agreement signed last year when Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader visited China, saying it was an excellent foundation for deepening political and economic relations.
Jandrokovic accepted Wang's invitation to visit China, most probably next year.
