TOKYO, Nov 30 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador to Japan Drago Stambuk in Hiroshima on Thursday met with Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba for talks on the initiatives he and his city are leading to denuclearise the world, the Croatian Embassy said in
a press release.

in Hiroshima on Thursday met with Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba for talks on the
initiatives he and his city are leading to denuclearise the world, the Croatian
Embassy said in a press release. Akiba asked Stambuk to convey his
invitation to Croatian cities to join the Mayors for Peace movement, which is
led by Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The aim of the movement is to rid the world of
nuclear weapons and achieve lasting world peace.
Prior to the talks, the ambassador visited the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb
Museum and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
