MOSTAR, Nov 22 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Prime Minister Milorad Dodik
has rejected media reports alleging that Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader
has asked him to ensure that his League of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD)
supports the Bosnian Croat HDZ 1990 party, rather than the HDZ BiH, as its
coalition partner at the state level. "We did not talk about who the
SNSD would support in forming a government. We have our own candidates and
those who support our candidates in the Council of Ministers will also have our
support," Dodik told the Mostar-based Dnevni List daily on Wednesday.
An inaugural session of the lower house of parliament, at which a group
of parties was to have been formed as a parliamentary majority based on the
October 1 general election, was broken off on Monday. The group was to propose
a new government.
Bosnian Federation television, citing anonymous sources, said that the
session was adjourned because of Sanader's request to Dodik.
