OSIJEK, Oct 26 (Hina) - Police in the eastern town of Osijek on
Thursday morning tried to serve Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) parliamentarian
Vlado Jukic with a summons to appear before the police for an interview. The Osijek County police said that they had sent the summons to Jukic as a
citizen, after he recently said publicly that he had some information in
connection with war crimes committed in Osijek.
The delivery of the summons failed as Jukic was absent.
Jukic told reporters in the parliament in Zagreb later in the day that
the police arrived at his flat this morning, but that his mother staying there
declined to take it.
