KRNJAK, Oct 24 (Hina) - Japanese Ambassador to Croatia Tetsuhisa Shirakawa on Tuesday attended the inauguration of the water system for the residents of the Pavkovic Selo, Donji Budacki and Komadine in the Krnjak municipality, some 70
kilometres south of Zagreb.

Shirakawa on Tuesday attended the inauguration of the water system for the
residents of the Pavkovic Selo, Donji Budacki and Komadine in the Krnjak
municipality, some 70 kilometres south of Zagreb. The new water
system is worth 780,000 kuna of which the Japanese government donated 500,000
kuna.
Ambassador Shirakawa said his government decided to help this region so
as to accelerate the development of agriculture after the recent war and
improve living conditions for the returnees.
