The Protection of Biodiversity of the Sava River Basin Floodplains project aims to help Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina in protecting and managing the unique landscape and biodiversity along the Sava river, and provides for the establishment of a coherent trans-border ecological network.
ZAGREB/BRUSSELS, Oct 19 (Hina) - The European Commission has approved EUR6.5 million for 16 new environmental projects as part of this year's LIFE (Financial Instrument for the Environment) programme for third countries; of that
amount, EUR601,210 has been allocated to Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina for an environmental project in the Sava river basin, the European Commission announced in Brussels on Thursday.
