ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - The investigative proceedings against Branimir Glavas and Krunoslav Fehir, suspected of war crimes against Serb civilians in Osijek in 1991, resumed before the Zagreb County Court on Tuesday with the testimonies of the wife and the daughter of Djordje Petkovic, a missing Serb civilian who had been allegedly abused and killed on Glavas's order.

The witnesses spoke to investigating judge Zdenko Posavec about the disappearance of their father and husband who, according to the prosecution, was killed following Glavas's order.

Petkovic's body has not been found to date.

Glavas is also accused of having personally ordered the abuse and the murder of Cedomir Vuckovic and the abuse of three Serb civilians.

The second suspect, Krunoslav Fehir, a member of a unit under Glavas's command, said during the investigating proceedings that Glavas had ordered Petkovic's murder. Fehir said that he learned from other members of the unit that Petkovic had ended up the same as Vuckovic who was killed during an attempt to escape from captivity.

The investigation will resume tomorrow.
