ZAGREB, Sept 16 (Hina) - The renovated Square of St. Mark, which houses the buildings of the Croatian Parliament Government, was officially inaugurated on Saturday by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic.
ZAGREB, Sept 16 (Hina) - The renovated Square of St. Mark, which
houses the buildings of the Croatian Parliament Government, was officially
inaugurated on Saturday by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic. The works
lasted three months and cost 14 million kuna (approximately 1.9 million
euros).
Bandic said that this was the first stage of the planned reconstruction
of upper-town Zagreb, announcing that the construction of a parking building
would start in the nearby residential area of Tuskanac in two weeks' time.
The entire renovation project will end in 2010.
