The suspects are Vlado Zec, former chairman of the board of the Kamen Ingrad construction company, Djurdjica Kristic, a former member of the company's board, and Milan Ivanko, director of the Pozega County road management authority.
An order was issued for the three suspects to be remanded in custody for 30 days.
The suspects engaged in unlawful activities to meet the liabilities of Kamen Ingrad and prevent its account from being frozen. As a result, they allegedly gained 5.9 million kuna for the benefit of Kamen Ingrad.
They also caused damage to two insurance companies, a factoring firm and a bank, unlawfully acquiring at least 18.4 million kuna.
A request for investigation was also filed against the two legal entities - Kamen Ingrad, which has been in receivership since April, and the Pozega County road management authority.
