MOSTAR, Sept 13 (Hina) - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Union Police Mission in Bosnia and the Mostar-based NGO La Strada on Wednesday called on the country to step up efforts in the fight against trafficking in humans.
MOSTAR, Sept 13 (Hina) - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Union Police Mission in Bosnia and the Mostar-based NGO La Strada on Wednesday called on the country to step up efforts in the fight against trafficking in humans.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of those states which does not abide by the minimal standards in the fight against trafficking in humans, read a join statement.

It warned that until recently Bosnia was viewed as a destination and transit country but that recently it also became a country of origin for people smuggling.
