Wisner held talks with President Fatmir Sejdiu, Prime Minister Agim Qeku and members of Kosovo's negotiating team.
He said the priority in the coming months would be reaching an agreement on technical issues, such as decentralisation of government, protection of the cultural and religious heritage, economic development, and protection of national minorities.
The envoy said Kosovo's negotiators were constructive during recent Pristina-Belgrade negotiations on Kosovo in Vienna and called for greater engagement in improving the position of minorities in the province.
Wisner visited Pristina after two days in Belgrade, where he urged Serbian officials to be more flexible in negotiating Kosovo's future status. He said the United States did not wish to prejudge a solution but advocated successfully settling concrete issues at this stage in the negotiations.
It was said today that senior representatives of Belgrade and Pristina will next meet in Vienna on August 7.
