BRUSSELS, July 10 (Hina) - The explanatory phase of the in-debt
analysis of the adjustment of Croatia's legislation with that of the European
Union for the foreign relations chapter, ended in Brussels on Monday. The chapter covers the EU common trade policy, foreign trade regulations,
including customs tariffs, WTO membership obligations, all bilateral agreements
between EU and other non-EU countries, ets.
Croatia's negotiator for this chapter Damir Kusen and the head of the
task force Tanja Tomic said that of some 1,200 pages of the regulations covered
in this chapter only four demanded adjustment in the pre-accession period.
