ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - As part of his officials visit to Croatia, the First Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Per Westerberg, on Tuesday held talks with the chairman of the Croatian parliament's committee on
inter-parliamentary cooperation, Milorad Pupovac, and members of the committee on human rights and the rights of national minorities, the Croatian parliament said in a statement.
ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - As part of his officials visit to
Croatia, the First Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Per Westerberg, on
Tuesday held talks with the chairman of the Croatian parliament's committee on
inter-parliamentary cooperation, Milorad Pupovac, and members of the committee
on human rights and the rights of national minorities, the Croatian parliament
said in a statement. Pupovac and Westerbers exchanged opinions
about the state of human rights and the rights of national minorities in
Croatia and prospects of the EU development.
Pupovac informed his guest of the committee's structure and work and
its cooperation with nongovernmental organisations.
Westerberg said Sweden would continue supporting Croatia on its path to
the EU, the parliament's press office said in the statement.
