Shirakawa, about the strengthening of the Croatia-Japan relations and the continuation of intensive cooperation between Croatian and Japanese parliamentarians, the Croatian parliament's press office said in a statement.
ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian-Japanese
Friendship Group in the Croatian parliament, Tonci Tadic, and member of the
Group Alenka Kosisa-Sain, on Tuesday held talks with the Japanese Ambassador to
Croatia, Tetsuhiso Shirakawa, about the strengthening of the Croatia-Japan
relations and the continuation of intensive cooperation between Croatian and
Japanese parliamentarians, the Croatian parliament's press office said in a
statement. This is the first working visit of the incoming Japanese
Ambassador Shirakawa to the Croatia parliament during which he praised the
initiative launched last year in Osaka by the Croatian-Japanese Friendship
Group aimed at establishing a direct connection by air between Japan and
Croatia.
The ambassador also expressed interest in deepening Croatian-Japanese
cooperation in science and architecture, the statement said.
