Speaking to reporters after a Commission meeting on Saturday evening, Commission Chairman Frantisek Lipka said that the Commission had received 199 complaints from municipal referendum commissions.
The Commission has examined all complaints and dismissed them either because they were unfounded or because they did not fall within our authority, Lipka said.
He added that nine complaints were forwarded to the Public Prosecutor and 16 to the Ministry of Justice.
The deadline by which complaints can be filed expires on Sunday.
According to the preliminary results of the referendum on the independence of Montenegro from its union with Serbia, which took place last Sunday, 55.5 per cent of the voters who turned out for the ballot voted in favour of independence.
Lipka said that the Referendum Commission would hold its next meeting on Monday, when the final results of the vote were expected to be announced.
