Janos Meszaros, the chairman of the company's managing board, based in Budapest, and the company's president, Joseph Priel, have held talks with Croatian Health Minister Neven Ljubicic this week to present him with plans in relation to Croatia, the company reported in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, Minister Ljubicic welcomed Euromedic International's initiative for investments in Croatia.
According to reports on its website, Euromedic International, a Dutch Holding Company registered in Amsterdam, is the largest investor in health-care area in Central and Eastern Europe. The company operates high quality medical centres mainly in the fields of Radiology and Dialysis.
The company owns and operates today over 50 Diagnostic and Dialysis Centres in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic and Russia. The company uses few brand names for different lines of activities: International Medical Centres (IMC), International Dialysis Centres (IDC) and Euromedic Training.
