ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor inZagreb on Thursday held talks with a UNICEF delegation about proposalsfor the new five-year plan of the UNICEF acitivies in Croatia andcampaigns aimed at
protecting the rights of children, the Government'spress office said in a statement.
ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka
Kosor in Zagreb on Thursday held talks with a UNICEF delegation about proposals
for the new five-year plan of the UNICEF acitivies in Croatia and campaigns
aimed at protecting the rights of children, the Government's press office said
in a statement. The UNICEF delegation included regional envoy for
Croatia Ann-Lis Svenson, head of the UNICEF office for Croatia tanja Radocaj
and advisor for the UNICEF action plan in Croatia Stephen Woodhouse.
Kosor expressed satisfaction with the government's cooperation with
UNICEF, adding that progress was made regarding the adoption of documents for
the protection of children's rights, such as the national plan for the
activities aimed at protecting the rights and interests of children for the
period 2006-2012, the statement said.
