The measurement of the index is the result of cooperation between the Hendal market research agency and the Croatian business weekly 'Lider'.
The trend of a steady rise of the index continues, the Hendal director-general, Nevenka Hendrich told a news conference in Zagreb on Wednesday.
According to her, the index is entering the "business boom" zone given that trends of growth and expectations for the next six months are on an ascending line in all the five parameters used for the calculation of the index.
The agency and the magazine survey the sample of 400 companies in Croatia and so far the poll has been conducted on a monthly basis in 11 intervals.
Directors of the companies in concern are asked two questions: how they assess the current business situation and what they expect in the next six months.
