Ott has not been arrested, but he is to be interviewed by the police, said Aleksandra Ljuba of the Interior Ministry's public relations office.
In the morning, Zagreb police officers visited Ott in the Esplanade hotel to ask him to wait for police to arrive from Dalmatia, and he agreed to be interviewed.
Although the police refused to reveal the contents of the questioning, unofficial sources say that the talks will be about the privatisation of Suncani Hvar, an ailing hotel company based on the Croatian island of Hvar.
The police questioning comes after Orco Group and the Croatian Privatisation Fund on Monday failed to reach agreement on the restructuring of Suncani Hvar.
