The government asked INA not to take its retail rebate on which the company had agreed, Sanader told reporters after the meeting.
Prices of other petroleum products will be regulated on the market.
The concession was made for the best selling product, i.e Super 95.
INA's CEO, Tomislav Dragicevic, said that a difference in the earnings would be covered by prices of other products.
Participants in the meeting said that INA's strategic partner, Hungary's MOL was included in the former's price policy.
On this occasion, Dragicevic said that the company would ask the competent authorities to allow a rise in the price of natural gas for the second quarter of this year.
