Ingra sent the reply to the ZSE following its inquiry about media reports that former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic was lobbying for the return of Ingra on the Russian market.
During their meeting on Monday Rosbank's representative Denis Kastanov briefed Ingra executives about the plans of that Russian bank to finance various construction projects in Tula Oblast.
It was proposed that Ingra and Russian business people set up a joint venture to construct infrastructure, industrial and housing facilities as well as public institution in that Russian region as well as throughout the Russian Federation.
According to the statement, some of the projects have already been defined by the Russian side while Ingra has not yet prepared a project for this purpose.
The negotiations on the matter are under way and the two sides are intending to reach agreement on cooperation and on joint venture, the Croatian company said in a statement.
According to the Rosbank's website report, it is the largest privately-owned Russian bank with 600 branch offices in more than 70 Russian regions. It also operates in Belarus and Switzerland and its major shareholder is Societe Generale.
