(Hina) - Branko Bacic, nominated by Prime Minister
Jadranka Kosor to serve as Minister of Environmental Protection,
Physical Planning and Construction, is a member of Parliament and
secretary-general of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party.
He sits on the parliamentary committee for physical planning and
construction.
Bacic was born on 7 June 1959 in Dubrovnik. He completed his primary and secondary education in Blato on the island of Korcula, and graduated from the Faculty of Geodesy at Zagreb University.
Bacic is married with two children. He is fluent in English.
