The document, signed by officials of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, provides for regular weekly exchanges of data and delivery of reports to Frontex.
Frontex is the Warsaw-based EU agency tasked to coordinate the operational cooperation between EU member-states in the field of border security. This body collects data on 128 airports in EU countries.
The latest project for cooperation in data exchange has been implemented by the MARRI Regional Centre in cooperation with Frontex and the Swiss federal office for migrations.
