The three suspects are Bosnian nationals and two are foreigners, Miletic told a news conference in Sarajevo on Thursday.
Presenting a report on security in the Bosnian Federation in 2005, the police chief said that in 2005 the police had pressed charges against 16 persons on suspicion of their involvement in terrorism, including arms and explosives smuggling.
Of the 16 people, five are still kept in detention in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, i.e. the Croat-Muslim entity, and they were arrested thanks to the local police cooperation with colleagues from Denmark, Sweden and Serbia-Montenegro, Miletic added.
"I believe that we have gathered enough evidence (against them). I hope that Bosnia-Herzegovina's Office of State Prosecutor will issue indictments against them," he told reporters.
He, however, declined to reveal the names of those five men.
According to the media, they are suspected of having prepared suicide terrorist attacks most probably against Western embassies and consulates in Bosnia
