ZAGREB, Jan 26 (Hina) - An international round table called on declarations of assets, organised by Transparency International Croatia, was held in Zagreb on Thursday.

The event was held because state and other officials are required to submit their declarations of assets by the end of this month, the president of Transparency International Croatia, Zoran Antun Petrovic, said opening the debate.

The head of the parliament's committee on conflict of interest, Josip Leko, said one of the basic of democracy was the control of the public authority.
