VIENNA, Jan 24 (Hina) - Franz Fiedler, a member of the AustrianParliament who previously headed the Austrian National Audit Office,has been awarded a high Croatian state decoration, the Order of PrinceBranimir, for his contribution to the professional development of theCroatian National Audit Office and its international image.
VIENNA, Jan 24 (Hina) - Franz Fiedler, a member of the Austrian Parliament who previously headed the Austrian National Audit Office, has been awarded a high Croatian state decoration, the Order of Prince Branimir, for his contribution to the professional development of the Croatian National Audit Office and its international image.

As secretary-general of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), Fiedler also encouraged and helped the Croatian National Audit Office to become a member of INTOSAI and EUROSAI, the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions.

Fiedler was presented with the decoration by Croatian Ambassador Zoran Jasic at a ceremony in the Croatian Embassy in Vienna on Tuesday.
