The two officials agreed that relations between Croatia and Slovenia were based on a rich tradition of good-neighbourliness and friendship between the two nations, the Croatian ministry said in a press release.
Biscevic thanked Slovenia for its continued support to Croatia on the path to membership of the European Union.
On the subject of the border dispute, Biscevic described as unacceptable attempts by Slovenia to gain control of the entire Bay of Savudrija, and handed in a note of protest at an incident in which a Croatian mussel farm had been destroyed and a response to a Slovene note on Croatia's water management strategy.
Biscevic reiterated that Croatia remained a well-meaning, constructive and credible partner and that it was expecting a response from Slovenia to its proposal that delimitation of the sea border should be left to an international judicial body, according to the press release.
