SDP vice-president Zlatko Komadina withdrew from the race today. He told reporters after the Committee meeting that "by participating in the election for the sake of participation" he would only disperse the votes of party delegates who would be electing a successor to the late SDP leader Ivica Racan at an emergency election convention, scheduled for June 2.
