According to a statement issued by the Croatian Parliament, the Croatian-German Friendship Group, led by deputies Bosnjakovic and Nikola Mak, on Monday received parliamentarians from Baden-Wuerttemberg, who are members of the CDU/CSU group in the German Bundestag.
The two delegations talked about the role of eight parliamentary deputies who represent 22 national minorities in the Croatian Parliament. Nikola Mak, a representative of the German national minority in the Croatian Parliament, said Croatia had a very advanced and modern minority policy.
The head of the German delegation, Georg Brunnhuber, said that the experience the two friendship groups were exchanging was very important to the parliamentarians of the two countries so that they could develop a more intensive cooperation.
The German delegation invited the Croatian parliamentarians to visit the Bundestag.
