Some 1,200 participants gathered for the three-day event - ministers, state secretaries and legal experts from 40 countries, including Croatian Justice Minister Ana Lovrin, who said the forum was successful.
Croatia, as a candidate for EU membership, finds its important to hear about the problems of the EU member states and how those countries are adjusting their legislations to that of the EU.
Asked to comment on the case of former Croatian Assistant Defence Minister Vladimir Zagorec, who opposed his extradition to Croatia at yesterday's hearing in Vienna, Lovrin said she hoped the retired general would be extradited to Croatia eventually.
"Croatia has done all that it is required to do under the law when it comes to extradition cases and we expect the Austrian court to make a decision in accordance with Austrian regulations," Minister Lovrin said.
