"Geofoto and Mapping Company of the Ministry of Defense of Hungary signed a contract of collaboration on a big NATO Project. Geofoto is assigned to produce a spatial database and perform aerial survey with digital camera of parts of territories of three European countries, according to the NATO standards," the Croatian company said in a press release issued on Thursday.
"The project includes production of digital aerial survey and organization, production, coordination and maintenance of spatial database which will be used by members of NATO and Partnership for Peace. In the project are included many multinational geodesy companies and few state cartographic institutions. Project managers are Ministry of Defense of Republic Hungary and Ministry of Defense of Republic Italy, in cooperation with Ministry of Defense of Republic Croatia and other member states of Partnership for Peace."
The company explained that it could not specify which three countries were covered by this project, as the contract forbids the revelation of their names.
