Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, Justice Minister Ana Lovrin and Interior Minister Ivica Kirin held a joint press briefing on Friday, announcing the SEECP meeting.
The ministerial meeting is aimed at strengthening mechanism of cooperation and stability of institutions as well as the overall security in this part of Europe, Lovrin said.
Cooperation and exchange of experience at all levels are an important factor for achieving joint objectives - full implementation of the principle of the rule of law, the establishment of judiciary based on EU standards, efficient struggle against corruption, the minister said.
The meeting will also be attended by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader the European Commission Vice President and European Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security, Franco Frattini, and special coordinator of the Stability Pact Erhard Busek, Lovrin said.
