The two generals are due to attend a pre-trial hearing on Friday, which is to focus on the issue of potential conflict of interest between the defence teams and Cermak's compliance with the provisional release rules.
The status conference in the Gotovina, Cermak and Markac case will for the first time bring together in a courtroom all three indicted generals - Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak and Mladen Markac.
The defence teams representing Markac and Cermak have announced they will request that their clients be released again pending trial, which is set to open on May 7.
