ZAGREB, Jan 10 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic on Wednesday received incoming Montenegrin Ambassador to Croatia Branko Lukovac who presented the minister with the copy of
his credentials. At the same time, Croatian Ambassador to Montenegro Petar Turcinovic presented his credentials to the Montenegrin President Filip Vijanovic, the office of the spokesman for the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
ZAGREB, Jan 10 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Affairs and European
Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic on Wednesday received incoming
Montenegrin Ambassador to Croatia Branko Lukovac who presented the minister
with the copy of his credentials. At the same time, Croatian Ambassador to
Montenegro Petar Turcinovic presented his credentials to the Montenegrin
President Filip Vijanovic, the office of the spokesman for the Croatian Foreign
Ministry said in a statement. Grabar Kitarovic welcomed the
Montenegrin Ambassador to Croatia and congratulated his country and people on
independence, expressing satisfaction with the establishment of
Croatia-Montenegro diplomatic relations.
Both the minister and the ambassador said the two countries needed to
continue developing friendly relations and promote cooperation in all fields,
notably in the economy. The two officials also stressed the need and readiness
to intensify regional cooperation, the statement said.
Croatian Ambassador tro Montenegro Turcinovic and Montenegrin President
Vujanovic agreed that the establishment of diplomatic relation between the two
countries was an important element in the development of friendly
relations.
