The meeting, held at the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP), focused on the manner and participants in the recapitalisation of the company.
Final decisions on the case will be made in the next few days after consultations in the government, Polancec said.
On Tuesday the government will inform the press about the recapitalisation and the current situation regarding the Suncani Hvar company, Polancec said.
Polancec recalled that one of the HFP's obligations was to find a solution for the settlement of property-rights disputes between Suncani Hvar on one side, and the Church and the town of Hvar on the other.
He added that participants in today's meeting had drawn closer to a final settlement regarding those disputes.
Asked about the recapitalisation of Suncani Hvar, Hvar Mayor Pjerino Bebic said that HFP representatives had stated that there was a possibility that the Orco Property Group might not acquire more than 50 percent of the company's stock and that talks would be held on whether the acquisition would be carried out through recapitalisation or in some other way.
The town of Hvar wants 25 percent plus one share of the Suncani Hvar company, Bebic said.
According to the latest information on the ownership structure of Suncani Hvar, the biggest single shareholder in the company is the Orco Property Group with 47.48 percent of shares, the HFP holds 21.28 percent, and the national agency for savings deposits insurance and bank rehabilitation 16.18 percent of the company's equity.
